BUILD YOUR FRAME:

Cut down your lumber according to the cut list in the project plans.

Take (2) of your 21” pieces of lumber and (2) of your 48” pieces and lay them out in a rectangle, with the 21” pieces inside the 48” pieces.

Align the edges & drill pilot holes with a 1/8” drill bit through both pieces. Then fasten together with 3” screws, using 2 screws for each side.

Place your 2x4 pieces of plywood on top of your 2x4 frame. Using 1 5/8" screws, fasten the plywood to the frame. We recommend pre-drilling to prevent splitting. You can also use an 18-gauge brad nailer and 1-1/2-2” 18GA brad nails to attach the plywood onto the frame.

CUT THE HOLE:

Measure 9” from the top and 12” from the side and mark — this will become your center. Using your compass, draw a 6” circle from that point.

Using a 1/2" drill bit, drill a hole on your center point. Then cut out a 6” circle using your HART 20V Jigsaw.
